HISTORY: -
The LSR class shunters wagons were built from either HJS, CMIS or (four wheel wagons) FJS class wagons. The LSR class were modified specifically for use within rail yards. All LSR wagons were fitted with transitional couplers. The LSR wagons are essentially just an underframe form the above mentioned wagons. The only major modifications were the addition of side steps and a block of concrete, this was added to give more weight and reduce derailments within the yards. This kit is based on the LSR wagons built from the HJS open wagons.
