HO SCALE or HOn3.5 12mm Narrow Gauge KIT KKB WOODEN LIVESTOCK GUARDS AND DROVERS COMPARTMENT HO GAUGE KIT

HISTORY: -

This wagon has SWING OUT and DROP DOWN doors on each side at opposite ends. The KKBs were fitted with two different types of bogies, the same as the KB. They were fitted with ARCHBAR BOGIES under the Drovers Compartment and PLATE FRAME BOGIES under the Guards compartment. The KKBs were suitable for Goods Trains, Express Freight and Livestock Trains and have a carrying capacity of 12 head of cattle. The wagons were fitted with a RED CIRCLE. As with most livestock wagons there is a Walkway along the top of the wagon to enable the drover to inspect his stock. Now days drovers do not travel with there stock.
