HISTORY: -
The HJC was converted from HJS bogie open wagons around the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. The wagon had sides taken off and was fitted with four cement bins. These wagons ran from Darra Cement Works to Rockhampton Cement Works. The wagon was of steel construction. There were a couple of variations within this class of wagon, these variations were: HJC (19 in service), HJCF (65 in service), HJCT (2 in service). The T stands for transition link couplers.
